Peptron, Inc., established in 1997, has become a leading life science company providing innovative products and technology to life science researchers, biotech industry, and pharmaceutical companies. Peptron has focused on four major areas: custom peptide synthesis service and related products, peptide DDS technology development, peptide cosmetic ingredient development, and peptide drug discovery.

Peptron is a global custom peptide synthesis service provider and has long-term customers in more than 30 countries. Industry and academic customers are delighted with Peptron’s high fidelity, high quality, and highly dependable peptide products and services. Peptron has developed a fully automatic peptide synthesizer, PeptrEX™, which can produce 48 different peptides simultaneously.
This has enabled Peptron to provide quality peptides faster to our customers at the most competitive pricing.
Our custom peptide synthesis and purification service is ISO 9001 certified.

Expertise in peptides and proteins has enabled Peptron to develop sustained release injectable formulation technologies for known peptide and protein drugs. The global market for sustained release injectable formulations has increased considerably due to its convenience for patients. Peptron’s state-of-the-art platform DDS technologies are SmartDepot™, SusTein™, and SmartRod™.
The first peptide drug using Peptron’s SmartDepot™ technology, 1-month leuprolide acetate injectable formulation has been approved by the Korean FDA in 2004.
Peptron currently has other portfolio peptide, small molecule and protein DDS products under development, and is looking forward to licensing them in near future.

Peptides as cosmeceutical ingredients with anti-aging, anti-wrinkle, or whitening effects are being developed and produced. Recently, Peptron’s Vitamin C conjugated pentapeptide (KTTKS) has been listed in the Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary and Handbook as a novel ingredient. Peptron has a portfolio of developing various functional peptide ingredients and products for the cosmeceutical industry.

There are more than 300 peptide drug candidates that are being developed worldwide. Due to recent technologies such as DDS to enhance the stability of the peptides, more peptide drugs are being developed. At Peptron, our drug discovery program focuses on angiogenesis inhibiting peptides, osteoporosis inhibiting peptides, and peptides as ES cell differentiation factors.
Peptron is looking forward to partnering with pharmaceutical companies that would develop the discoveries into marketable drug products.
