Since its establishment in 1997, Peptron has focused on custom peptide synthesis, as well as developing new processes and technologies for higher efficiency peptide synthesis service.
Peptron has developed the world's most efficient automatic peptide synthesizer, PeptrEX™, a 48 multiple parallel peptide synthesis system optimized for fast and reliable peptide synthesis.
Peptron provides over 150 peptides per week to hundreds of customers in more than 30 nations worldwide.

Peptron's overall peptide synthesis capacity is 300 peptides per week and will be increased to 500 peptides per week in 2005. Peptron currently operates 12 analytical and prep-HPLCs for analysis and purification of peptides. The current capacity for purification of peptides is 150 samples per week.
The next generation model of PeptrEX™, under development, will synthesize peptides 4 times the speed of current model, enabling Peptron to deliver peptides to its customers within 2 weeks or less.
Peptron is expecting to increase its capacity to over 700 peptides per week when the next generation automatic peptide synthesizer, PeptrEx-II™ is completed and installed by 2006.

Peptron produces peptides by the Fmoc solid phase synthesis system. Peptron's unique horizontal boat-type reactor (Patent No. KR 0312202, PCT/KR01/00232, WO 01/72411, US 2003/0026745) is designed to substantially reduce abrasion between the resin and the glass filter that may result in the damage of resins and thus low peptide synthesis efficiency.
PeptrEX™ is optimized to produce peptides from 25 up to 100 uM scale.
Its peptide synthesis is high-throughput, economical due to less use of solvents, and highly efficient due to the high production yield.

Peptron's peptide synthesis and purification process is ISO 9001 certified and all peptides are provided with a complete quality control package including HPLC chromatograms to ensure purity and mass spectral analysis to confirm identity.
Peptide information provided from the customer is put into the PeptrEX™ and all the synthetic history is automatically recorded and stored as log files.
After the synthesis is completed, necessary modifications are performed before the product is processed for primary Q/C using HPLC and Mass analysis.
If the primary Q/C results indicate that the product meets customer's needs and quality, the product is purified using a prep-HPLC. Additional modifications take place before the purified product goes into secondary Q/C.
If the final Q/C results show that the product is precisely what customer ordered, then it is lyophilized, amount checked, and its solubility is determined.
If you are not completely satisfied, Peptron will re-synthesize your peptide without additional charge. Notification of a potential problem must be made within 30 days of receipt of the peptide.
