The sulfhydryl group of glutathione is attached to Sepharose 4B resin via 12-mer linker in order to increase affinity and to prevent steric hindrance.
 
 
Ni-NTA Chelating Agarose CL-6B is an affinity resin for the purification of proteins expressed by Histidine-tag fusion vector system. Nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) is attached to Sepharose CL 6B to bind to nickel ions at four positions for stronger binding, preventing loss of nickel ions and proteins during purification. The resin is supplied in the pre-charged form with nickel ion for convenience.
